Aaron Lichamer (he/him) is a Chicago based freelance lighting designer, supervisor, and technician. He is the current lighting supervisor for Lookingglass, Chicago Opera Theater, Haymarket Opera, and is an adjunct professor of lighting technology at DePaul University. He was previously a project manager at Upstaging, and the Lighting & Video Director for Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Recent design credits include Anthony Rapp: Home for the Holidays (Lookingglass); Viva La Mamma!, Songbird (Florentine Opera Company); Another Sunrise/For A Look or A Touch, The Cook Off (Chicago Opera Theater); ​Women of Rock, Country Sunshine, Unforgettable: John-Mark McGaha Sings Nat King Cole, PianoMen, and Get Happy (Milwaukee Rep). He holds a BFA in Lighting Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
